Record Enrollment Anticipated at Murray Half Marathon, April 18

Murray-Calloway Endowment for Healthcare's Half Marathon celebrates its fifth year, April 18. The Endowment's Vice President for Development, Keith Travis, visits Kate Lochte on Sounds Good with details about the marathon, record enrollment, where the proceeds go and a special gift for every runner.

The race starts at 7 a.m. on April 18. The Starting line is 716 Poplar Street in Murray. Keith Travis anticipates roughly 180 people participating and an estimated $45-50,000 for the hospice house. Every runner gets a free car wash at Finish Line Car Wash.

Matt Markgraf joined the WKMS team as a student in January 2007. He's served in a variety of roles over the years: as News Director March 2016-September 2019 and previously as the New Media & Promotions Coordinator beginning in 2011. Prior to that, he was a graduate and undergraduate assistant. He is currently the host of the international music show Imported on Sunday nights at 10 p.m.
