Sex Trafficker On Texas' 10 Most Wanted List Arrested In Murray

Texas Department Of Public Safety

A fugitive on Texas’stop ten most wanted list was arrested Monday in Murray, Kentucky.

Herman Henry Fox was wanted out of Texas for Trafficking of Persons, Compelling Prostitution by Force or Threat and possession of Marijuana. Fox had a total bond of over $1 million dollars in Texas.

A press release from the Murray Police Department said they began surveillance on a residence the fugitive was living in after they received information regarding Fox possibly being in Murray.

After several hours of surveillance the fugitive showed up at the residence and officers were able to take the individual into custody without incident.

Fox was charged by Detective Michael Weatherford of the Murray Police Department for being a Fugitive from Justice, which is a Class D Felony in the state of Kentucky.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Fox, 35 of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has a history of arrests for Assault, Robbery, Dangerous Drugs, and Weapons Offenses. In August 2016, after Fox was arrested for Possession of Marijuana near a hotel in College Station, Texas, authorities suspected he was engaging in human trafficking by forcing a woman into prostitution.

After failing to appear for court hearings in July, he was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted list on September 11, 2017.

This charge will hold Fox in custody pending extradition to Texas. Murray Police Public Information Officer Sergeant Brant Shutt said local authorities "do not have any information to lead them to believe Fox is involved with a sex trafficking ring or involved with any current operation here."
