Steve Doolittle To Take On McCracken County Deputy Judge/Exec. Position

Matt Markgraf, WKMS

McCracken County Judge/Executive Craig Clymer plans to pick former Paducah Riverfront Development Authority Director Steve Doolittle as his deputy.

Doolittle said Clymer plans to ask him to take on the role at Monday’s fiscal court meeting. The fiscal court will then need  approve Doolittle’s appointment.

He has previously served in this role under former Judge/Executive Danny Orazine.

Doolittle said he started working for the city in 1990 as the Director of Building Inspections and soon after oversaw the planning department among various other positions in local government. He said he is returning to the Deputy Judge/Executive position after retiring at the end of 2016.
