Commonwealth Classics, a 10-part program, is produced and hosted by George Eldred.  Made possible by a grant from the Carson-Myre Charitable Foundation in Paducah, the show features performances from around the state of Kentucky.  Eldred noted, “It’s great how so much music is made right here in Kentucky from professional orchestras to student ensembles, to community bands!  There’s music from the Paducah Symphony and the Owensboro Symphony, faculty recitals from Western Kentucky University, student groups from the University of Louisville and Murray State University, and community bands from Murray and Hopkinsville.
