Readers of AAA Midwest Traveler have voted Paducah as the best day trip from Evansville, Indiana. The annual poll gives readers the opportunity to name top destinations from metropolitan areas in the Midwest. Paducah received word earlier this month and sent an award plaque to the Convention and Visitors Bureau. The award was completely reader-driven. Midwest Traveler highlighted Paducah’s arts district and attractions like the National Quilt Museum and National Heritage Museum as reasons for the honor.
