Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron has filed a motion to suspend executive orders designed to protect the public from the global pandemic currently ravaging the country, and on the rise in the Commonwealth.


A Kentucky judge’s ruling Thursday limits Gov. Andy Beshear’s authority to issue emergency orders mandating coronavirus safety measures — a ruling Beshear called “dangerous and devastating” and promptly pledged to appeal.

  A group of voters and advocacy groups are suing to get Kentucky to continue offering mail-in voting to all eligible voters during the November General Election.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported deaths and general hospitalizations related to COVID-19 in the state are trending down, in an online Saturday update on the virus. Kentucky has 244 new cases of coronavirus and two deaths related to the virus.
