Appointments are now being accepted for the annual free skin cancer screening sponsored by Kentucky Cancer Program, Mercy Health-Lourdes, and Baptist Health Paducah.

The screening will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Surgery Waiting Room inside the Marshall Nemer Medical Office Building on the campus of Mercy Health-Lourdes.

Paducah Dermatology providers will volunteer their time to examine and evaluate skin changes. Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United State. One in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime, according to the American Academy of Dermatology.
