The Kentucky State Police are investigating a house fire in eastern Calloway County that left two dead.

KSP Trooper Michael Robichaud says firefighters put out the blaze on Cedar Haven Drive near Kenlake around 12:30pm Tuesday afternoon.

One victim has been identified as Linda Whittenberg, 51, of Murray.  Robichaud says Whittenberg was found inside the residence, but did not live there.

Another victim, an unidentified male, was later found in a detached garage.

The bodies are due for an autopsy in Louisville.

Robichaud says KSP and arson investigators are still on scene and have not yet determined if foul play was involved.  The cause of the fire is still to be determined.

Rob Canning is a native of Murray, KY, a 2015 TV Production grad of Murray State. At MSU, he served as team captain of the Murray State Rowing Club.
