Murray, KY – The Murray State University men's basketball team squares off against the Vanderbilt University Commodores this Thursday in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The teams will head to San Jose, California to play the game. Guard Isacc Miles has been to the NCAA before.
"Feel fortunate and blessed to go back again. Y'know, went back my freshman year and going back my junior year and playing against a good team Vanderbilt, which my friends play on. So it's going to be a great time in Cali."
MSU Coach Billy Kennedy says his staff has developed a game plan for each team in the tournament, but he says defense is the main strategy. The matchup winner goes on to play University of Texas El Paso or Indiana's Butler University in the second round of the tournament.
