Paducah, Ky. – Emily Gartner works with recycled mixed media. She is one of the many artists coming to Paducah next month for the LowerTown Arts and Music Festival. Jacque Day caught Gartner in the midst of a transition: the Evansville native, who's lived on the east coast for the past quarter century, is hitting the road and moving from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania back to her home state of Indiana. The two spoke as boxes were loaded onto the artist's moving truck.
Gartner is one of many visual artists participating in the LowerTown Arts and Music Festival from May 20 to 22.
