Campanile Productions, Hopkinsville’s primary community theater company, is bringing a new spectacular production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to the Historic Alhambra Theater. Tickets are on sale now for four performances on August 8th through the 11th.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is an irresistible family musical about Joseph, Israel's favorite son. With lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the story is based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Bible's Book of Genesis. In a show that is entirely sung, we follow the Narrator and the Children's Chorus as they tell the story of Joseph and his ever-so-jealous brothers. Featuring a variety of musical genres, lots of dancing, and plenty of laughs, this show is all about being playful, silly, and of course, as flashy as that technicolor coat.

Guests are encouraged to dress up in their “flashiest” attire in celebration of the occasion.

Tickets to the three evening performances and one matinee performance can be purchased at campanileproductions.com. The Saturday evening performance will be accompanied by a special Campanile Cabaret in celebration of the production company’s 15th year of operations. Tickets will be sold at the door as available, but guests are highly encouraged to order online ahead of time.
