The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education has narrowed their search down to three finalists for Council president.

The KCPE’s Presidential Search Committee is expected to meet next week to interview Robert Donley, Emily House and Aaron Thompson for the position.

Donley served as the executive director and chief executive officer for the Board of Regents in the State University System of Iowa for nine years.

House is the chief policy and strategy officer for the Tennessee Higher Education Commission and the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation.

Thompson is the executive vice president and chief academic officer for the KCPE.

Former CPE President Robert King announced his retirement in June after nearly 10 years in the position.
