Paducah mayor Brandi Harless is organizing a public meeting for residents to share ideas for community growth.
The event titled "Informed and Involved" is August 1 at 5:30 at the City Hall. According to a release, the event will include interactive activities and launch discussions.
Harless says face-to-face contact and open discussions are important for growth. She says Informed and Involved was inspired by similar events held by former mayor Gerry Montgomery.
She says she plans on coordinating more meetings of similar nature in the future.
