Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear says he has banked more than $1 million for his re-election campaign. Beshear says the money came in despite the fact that he and his running mate, Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson, haven't spent a lot of time fundraising. Governor Beshear announced last year that he would seek re-election. The primary isn't until May 2011. So far, Beshear is the only Democrat to commit to the race. Republican Richie Farmer has said he is considering seeking is party's nomination for governor.
