Kentucky – Republican U.S. Senator-elect Rand Paul says he's bent on presenting a balanced budget proposal during his first month in office. Paul says, he'll draw on the work of other fiscal conservatives to swiftly draft legislation once he's sworn in January 5. A Paul spokeswoman says, he's looking at proposals from the Heritage Foundation and the Cato Institute, both conservative public policy organizations.
