Primary Clear for GOP in Treasurer and Attorney General Offices

By Angela Hatton

Murray, KY – The field is clear for two Republican candidates running for state office. Attorney General hopeful Todd P'Pool of Madisonville and candidate for Treasurer K. C. Crosbie of Lexington are running unopposed. Crosbie, if elected, would be the first female Republican state Treasurer. She says she wants to get a conservative back in the Treasurer's office, and open up transparency. P'Pool is in his second term as Hopkins County Attorney. His top priorities if elected include keeping the Environmental Protection Agency out of Kentucky, and joining other Attorneys General who call the federal Healthcare bill unconstitutional. P'Pool and Crosbie spoke at this weekend's Lincoln Day Dinner in Murray.
