Murray, KY – A federal judge ruled in favor of Metropolis' Metro Pony strip club Thursday after the owner sued the city over an ordinance passed earlier this month. The ordinance eliminates alcohol at the club and restricts what dancers can wear in addition to forbidding contact with customers. The club's owner Jerry Westlund says this ordinance would have shut down his club. The Judge also granted the club a temporary restraining order that will keep city employees off the property. WPSD TV reports that another hearing on the issue is scheduled for March The judge's ruling prevents the city from enforcing the ordinance.
