Paris, Tenn. – The Paris, Tennessee city commission has adopted what City Manager Carl Holder calls a "continuation budget" until financial records can be brought up to date. The Paris Post Intelligencer reports, Holder has chosen not to publish monthly data. Auditors have been working to update the city's financial records since January, when irregularities were found. He says auditors have almost completed the update so fiscal year 2010 can be closed out. Then they'll catch up the accounting to April 1.
