Land Between the Lakes, Kentucky – The Tennessee Valley Authority and Army Corps of Engineers predict unprecedented lake levels for Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake. The current lake levels are 372.5 feet and rising. These lake levels have caused flooding along the LBL shorelines. Staff has closed all boat ramps, campgrounds, lakeside campsites, trails, and roads. Anyone found beyond barricaded areas will be issued citations. Hunting, picnicking, and hiking are available in limited areas; however, extreme caution should be used due to saturated soil conditions and weather conditions. Currently, only about 80 of LBL's 300 miles of roadway are open to the public.
