Clarksville, TN – A pay study for the Clarksville Utility CDE Lightband recommends raises for most of its employees. Clarksville's Power Board heard the study's results yesterday. The recommendations include raises of 1 to 7 percent for most employees, and a pay bump of up to 40 percent for some. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the initiative comes as part of an effort to make salaries more competitive with regional communities of similar size. The City of Clarksville recently implemented a series of raises based on a similar study.
