Clinton, KY – Residents in Clinton and Middlesboro, Kentucky will have a chance to comment on a request for an increase in the amount they pay for water at meetings starting this week. The Kentucky Public Service Commission is conducting the public meetings in response to requests from Water Service Corporation customers and elected officials. The rate increase amounts to about 22 percent. Water Service Corporation told the PSC the increase is needed to pay for modernization of information management systems. The Clinton meeting will be held June 22nd, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hickman County Courthouse.
