Tennessee – Tennessee's 8th District US Representative Stephen Fincher and his attorney expect the Federal Election Commission to dismiss a complaint made against Fincher earlier this year. Fincher neglected to include liabilities worth between 1.1 and 2.5 million dollars on his personal financial disclosure, leaving 250,000 dollars in his campaign unaccounted for. Fincher's attorney Elliot Berke says the error was an honest mistake and an amended version of the form was submitted to the Tennessee Secretary of State's office. The Federal Election Commission's investigation on the matter is pending.
