Murray KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital is pleased to announce that Vicki Parks has joined the hospital as its new Chief Financial Officer. Vicki comes to Murray from Trussville, Alabama, where she served as the Chief Accounting Officer for St. Vincent's Health System, a four-hospital system with 821 licensed beds. Vicki has been with St. Vincent's Health System for the past 13 years, where she has held several financial positions and was promoted to the CFO position following a hospital merger.
"Vicki brings us a wealth of experience and knowledge," says Jerry Penner, CEO of Murray-Calloway County Hospital. "She's achieved tremendous results for the healthcare system she has been associated with, and she has a great track record during her over 20 years of financial experience. We look forward to adding her expertise to the leadership of our hospital, and to having her as part of our team at Murray."
Parks is a CPA, who received her BS in Business Administration from the University of Alabama - Birmingham. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Alabama Society of CPA's, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a speaker at National Healthcare conferences.
Vicki and her husband, Brady, have two sons: Matthew (17), and Michael (11) and are re-locating to Murray.
