Murray, KY – Officials unveiled a new transitional home for homeless veterans in Clarksville Monday. Patriot Place is an eight bedroom facility located near Fort Campbell Boulevard. It will assist veterans in their efforts to become self sufficient. Funding for the project came from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Tennessee Housing Development Authority and local non-profit Buffalo Valley. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports officials expect to open Patriot Place for tenants October 1st.
