Murray, KY – The Jesse Allison murder trial has ended in a mistrial. After two and a half hours of deliberations the jury informed Circuit Judge C.A. Woodall they were hopelessly deadlocked and unable to come to a consensus. The Paducah Sun reports Jesse Allison is accused of smothering his 7-month-old daughter in her crib in 2009. After declaring a mistrial, Woodall set a tentative re-trial date for November 1st. However Caldwell county officials say the jury pool will not be in place until January.
