Paducah, KY – Paducah's Maiden Alley Cinema could soon be permanently allowed to sell beer. Executive Director Landee Bryant says a permanent license would save the theater money. She says Maiden Alley applies several times a month for the temporary licenses, and the fees have become a problem for the non-profit. Bryant says even if they're approved, the cinema won't sell alcohol at every event, especially at family-oriented ones. She says they should have word on the status of their application within the next few weeks.
