By Rose Krzton-Presson

Murray, KY – Amish community members Levi Hostetler and Joe Stutzman were found guilty on all misdemeanor traffic charges during a Graves County Circuit Court session Monday. The two are fined after violating state traffic safety laws by refusing to display reflective triangles on their horse-drawn buggies. They say that it violates their religious beliefs. Stutzman was fined 173 dollars and Hostetler was fined a total of 341 dollars- both amounts are due January 12th. This case is one of many to come through the Graves County court system. Emanuel Yoder and Levi Zook were also brought to court on the same charges, but will have their retrial on November 14th.
