Murray, KY – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam says he views his clashes with Tennessee Occupy protestors as a winning battle. Haslam ordered the protestors removed from their encampment across the street from the capitol in October, but was forced to drop all charges against them when Nashville courts refused to put the protestors in jail. Since the October clash, protestors have reoccupied the park and say they plan to stay through the winter. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports Haslam disagrees with the courts' rulings, citing his belief the protestors are not allowing him to look after the safety and freedom of all people in the state.
