The McCracken County Public Library holds a Valentine’s Day “Crafternoon” this Saturday at 1. The free program lets participants make Victorian-themed collage cards using mixed media such as ribbon, paper lace doilies, feathers, paint pens, magazine cutouts, paint, and fabric. All materials are provided, and dessert is included. Contact the library to pre-register.

The Gentry House in Murray is a transitional shelter that helps homeless families. They’re currently seeking donations of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper.
