Concession Stands At Cinemark in Paducah Closes Due To Roach Infestation

WIKIMEDIA COMMONS, PUBLIC DOMAIN

The concession stands at the Cinemark movie theater in Paducah are closed due to a roach infestation.

Purchase District Health Department Environmental Health Program Manager Joel Barrett said he inspected the establishment on Monday after several complaints were sent to the health department.

He said he found numerous cockroaches. The movie theater was closed until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday and has reopened. Barrett said the concession stands remain closed until the theater passes an inspection Wednesday.

Barrett said Cinemark has employed pest control services and the health department will continue to check concessions after they reopen.
