Early Voting Begins Today in Tennessee

Tennessee Secretary of State's Office

Tennessee residents begin early voting today for the state's March 1 presidential primary. Tennessee joins 11 other states on "Super Tuesday" dubbed this year "SEC Tuesday" since many of the participating states are in the collegiate Southeastern athletic conference.

Early voting is conducted at local election commission offices or satellite locations designated by the commission. Tennessee voting requires a driver's license or government issued photo ID.

The Kentucky Republican caucus is Saturday, March 5 and the Democratic primary is May 17. The Illinois primary is March 15.

Matt Markgraf joined the WKMS team as a student in January 2007.
