Leaders of the University of Louisville and its foundation are pledging to continue working through their differences even amid more public dissent.
A power struggle between the two entities hasn’t gone away. During a board of trustees meeting Thursday, they continued to spar over who will oversee a Foundation audit.
Board of Trustees chair Larry Benz said the dialogue is continuing. Newly elected U of L foundation chair Brucie Moore asked for patience as the board makes decisions.
“Let’s all move forward, all people that are reasonale minds have to have good faith in all our other board members, and I do,” Moore said. “And I hope that you will share that with me.”
The foundation manages the university’s endowment. Its board of directors meets this morning.
