U.S. Department of Energy Announces Third Year of Tours at Paducah Site

 The U.S. Department of Energy is offering public tours of the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant.  Visitors can take an inside look at the site and cleanup operations.

The tour includes a visit to the plant’s control facility, historical videos and photographs, along with information on current activities.

Each tour is coordinated by Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership and lasts approximately three hours. Participants must be 18 years or older and the tour is free of charge.

There are five tour dates in 2018 beginning in April. Participants can register here.

This the third consecutive year the tours are being offered.

 
Tour Details

Dates: April 7, May 19, June 2, June 23, and September 8

Times: 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Location: West Kentucky Community and Technical College Emerging Technology Center or

4810 Alben Barkley Drive in Paducah
