Murray, KY – In 1959, author Truman Capote set out to write about the murder of a Kansas family and the two drifters accused of the crime. The subsequent five years would culminate in the acclaimed non-fiction novel, In Cold Blood. Maiden Alley Cinema's Larry Thomas talked to Bryan Bartlett about the Oscar-nominated biopic, Capote, starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Thomas says Hoffman's portrayal of Capote is dead-on.
