President Trump is promising a “big night” in Evansville as he prepares for what’s expected to be a standing-room-only crowd of 11,000 people.
Trump is holding a rally at the Ford Center which will get underway at 7 p.m.
Supporters of the President have been lining up outside the facility throughout the day to make sure they get good seats for tonight’s event.
The Courier and Press report a few die-hard supporters camped out overnight to ensure they’d be near the front of the line.
Trump tweeted his support Thursday morning for Indiana’s Republican U.S. Senate nominee, Mike Braun. He’s taking on incumbent Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly, in what will likely be one of the most closely-watched Senate races in the nation this fall.
Will be going to Evansville, Indiana, tonight for a big crowd rally with Mike Braun, a very successful businessman who is campaigning to be Indiana’s next U.S. Senator. He is strong on Crime & Borders, the 2nd Amendment, and loves our Military & Vets. Will be a big night!
