The Supreme Court also ruled today that the government can continue to try to force defendants to forfeit property used in drug-related crimes. Lower courts had said that such forfeiture amounted to punishing people twice for the same crime, and violated the Constitutional guarantee against double jeopardy. NPR's Barbara Bradley reports.
