U.S. & Iraq

NPR's Ted Clark reports that President Bill Clinton has vowed to punish Saddam Hussein for attacking Kurds in Northern Iraq, but there is little more he can do to isolate Iraq diplomatically. Iraq is already suffering under severe economic sanctions and the United States seems to have few options short of military strikes to retaliate against Iraq's latest aggression.
