NPR's Richard Harris reports that a major study has mostly reassuring news about birth control pills and breast cancer. The study confirms that women who currently use the pill have a slightly increased risk of breast cancer. But that risk is small and there is no apparent long-term risk. The millions of women who have been off the pill for at least 10 years are not at added risk for getting breast cancer, according to a study that scientists are calling "definitive."
