Nifedipine is a commonly used drug for treating patients with extremely high blood pressure....but according to an article in tomorrow's Journal of the American Medical Association, it's not clear the drug should be used at all. According to the article, nifedipine's affect is unpredictable, and can be harmful to some patients. NPR's Joe Neel reports.
