NPR's Cheryl Corley reports from Chicago on the Illinois Senate race between Democrat Richard Durbin and Republican Al Salvi. Both are looking to replace retiring Senator Paul Simon. Durbin had been a member of the House when he gave up his seat to run. Salvi is a political novice who defeated the Republican party establishment candidate for the nomination.
