Ed O'Loughlin reports from Johannesburg that crack cocaine, which has caused so much devastation in the United States, is gaining popularity in South Africa. Police say use of this highly addictive form of cocaine has surged significantly over the past couple of years. The end of apartheid helped pave the way for crack in South Africa, as the end of international trade sanctions made it much easier for drug traffickers to bring cocaine into the country.
