A story in the Washington Post stating that the Chinese Embassy might have been used to help raise foreign donations for the Democratic Party has led to renewed calls by some Republicans for the Justice Department to assign an independent counsel to investigate the campaign contributions case. However, the Justice Department said it had yet to find anything that would warrant taking such a step. NPR's Peter Overby reports.
