NPR's Richard Harris reports that this weekend is the best time to see the spectacular comet known as Hale-Bopp. The comet is visible just after dark in the northwest sky. Astronomers are thrilled by the sight. But they have also spent time quashing a runaway rumor that the comet is being followed by a UFO.
