NPR's Kathleen Schalch reports the World Bank has announced plans for a sweeping reorganization that will require significant cutbacks. Seven hundred bank staffers may see pink slips and many of the bank's specialists will be sent to live in the countries they serve. Critics give the bank praise for trying, but question whether the plan is too ambitious.
