Murray, KY – Well, it's time again for the Western Kentucky Fiddle Festival on Friday night and Saturday November 9th and 10th at Lovett Auditorium on campus at Murray State. Judges listen for rhythm & timing, tone, execution and style of competitors vying for $6000 in prizes in 14 events. Murray Convention and Visitors Bureau executive director Lindsay Geib tells Kate Locthe more about it.

Over 45 musicians came from near and far to compete in the first Western Kentucky Fiddle Festival last year, so contest organizers are eager to expand the audience for the contest entrants.
