Paducah, KY – Paducah attorney James Grant King pleaded not guilty to four alcohol-related charges in a preliminary Tuesday hearing in McCracken District Court.
The 36-year-old King was charged with drunken driving, driving on a suspended license, failure to signal and possessing an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle after police allegedly stopped King for driving erratically on Hinkleville Road June 2nd.
The Paducah Sun reports King will have a continued first appearance June 22nd where he will receive an addition count of endangering the welfare of a minor. After his arrest, King told police he left his 6-year-old son at home alone with the house unlocked. A sheriff's deputy found the child at the home and released him to his grandmother.
