Paducah, KY – Paducah City Commissioner Gayle Kaler is concerned about an increasing amount of graffiti in and around the city, noting she found five graffiti emblems in her neighborhood alone. Kaler told her fellow commissioners last night that she wants the city to find out who's doing it and put a stop to it. Paducah Police Chief James Berry says some of the graffiti is, in his words, gang type, but he says he has no confirmation of any type of gang in the city. Kaler is recommending that any property owner who is a victim of graffiti to document it, then paint over it as soon as possible.
