Fulton, Ky – 40 volunteers from the twin cities of Fulton, Kentucky and South Fulton, Tennessee mobilized Saturday, June 5th to kick off "Let's Paint the Town," a grass-roots effort to bring communities back to life. 21 buildings have been selected to receive much needed TLC including a new paint job. Mark Welch traveled to Fulton last weekend to see the work on the first two buildings.
In this audio postcard we heard organizer Jeff Campbell who recently retired back to his hometown, Thea Vowell, executive director of the Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce and Jim Martin, a former city manager and mayor of Fulton.
