Louisville, KY – Old style farmers markets and "buying local" initiatives are growing their appeal with new media. The center for Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Louisville has launched a website that uses the internet to connect Kentucky farmers. KYfoodtrader.org is a virtual farmers' market, where growers can advertise their products, and consumers can find out where to buy.
