Nashville, TN – Imagine spending an evening at a remote country manor with 13 remarkable historical figures: Edgar Allan Poe, Rasputin, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mary Baker Eddy, Annie Oakley, and Mark Twain. The dinner conversation is, of course, spirited. Religion, politics, and philosophy, all of the things you're not supposed to talk about in polite company, are discussed and argued over. Now imagine that one by one, your fellow dinner guests start turning up murdered. That's the premise of Twilight of the Gods, an original comedic thriller running at the Shamblin Theater on Nashville, Lipscomb University campus. The playwrights are Greg Greene and Mayfield's Wes Driver. And playing Twain is an actor of regional reputation, West Kentucky Community and Technical College professor of communications Don Maley. Todd Hatton spoke with Maley about the unusual part he plays in this unusual play.
